Do you provide free quotes?

Yes, we offer free, no-obligation quotes for all interior, exterior, and commercial painting jobs.

What areas do you service?

We service from Brisbane City through North Brisbane to the Moreton Bay region, including all suburbs in between.

What types of painting do you do?

We handle:

Are you insured and licensed?

Yes. We hold an up-to-date QBCC Licence, ABN, and all required public liability and workers compensation insurances.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We’ll confirm our availability when we send your quote. If you have a specific timeline or tight deadline, let us know — we’ll do our best to accommodate.

How do you calculate the quote?

Our quotes are all-inclusive. That means labour, paint, prep materials, tools, equipment, insurances, and GST are all factored in — you don’t need to supply anything.

Can I get a quote for just part of my house?

Yes, we’re happy to quote for individual rooms or specific areas, not just full repaints.

Do you charge extra for high ceilings or difficult access?

If specialised access equipment is required (e.g., scaffolding or trestles), it will be included in your quote and clearly itemised.

What’s included in the quote?

Your quote covers:

Paint (we use premium brands)

All prep materials and equipment

What kind of preparation do you do before painting?

We take prep seriously. Our standard process includes:

Sanding all surfaces

Filling small holes and imperfections

Gapping cracks

Spot-priming with stain blockers or mould inhibitors as needed

Protecting floors and furniture with drop sheets

Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?

We ask that large furniture is moved to the centre of the room and that smaller items are packed away. We cover all furniture and flooring with drop sheets for protection.

Do you supply the paint, or can I provide my own?

We supply premium-quality paints from trusted brands like Dulux, Taubmans, and Wattyl. If you prefer another brand or wish to supply your own paint, just let us know during quoting — we’ll adjust the price accordingly. We recommend using brands we trust to ensure the best result.

What brands of paint do you use?

We use premium ranges from Dulux, Taubmans, and Wattyl, depending on the project. If you have a preferred colour or brand, we’re happy to accommodate.

Do you offer eco-friendly or low-VOC paint options?

Yes. We can use low-VOC or eco-friendly paints on request — just let us know if this is important to you during quoting.

How long will my job take?

Timeframes vary depending on the size and scope of the job. We’ll give you an estimated duration when quoting and keep you updated throughout the process. If you have a deadline, let us know early.

How many painters will be on site?

We usually work in teams of 2 to 4, depending on the size and timeframe of the job.

Do I need to be home while the painting is happening?

No — you’re not required to be home. We just need access and clear instructions. We ask that pets are secured, and we’re happy to follow lock-up or alarm procedures.

What if it rains during an exterior job?

If weather delays the job, we’ll pause and reschedule the affected work at no extra charge. We’ll work with you to find a suitable new date.

Will the painters clean up after the job?

Yes, absolutely. We use dustless sanding systems indoors to reduce mess and always tidy up after ourselves. All rubbish is removed, and we vacuum interior spaces if needed before we leave.

Is there a warranty or guarantee on your work?

Yes. If your job is valued at $3,300 or more, it will include QBCC Home Warranty Insurance, which protects you from defects for 6 years and 6 months. We also offer a 48-hour touch-up period — if you notice anything once we’re done, let us know within 2 days and we’ll come back to fix it.

Will I get a written invoice?

Yes. All jobs come with a formal written invoice.

How do I maintain my freshly painted surfaces?

We recommend:

Avoid wiping surfaces for at least 7 days to allow the paint to cure fully

Use a damp cloth (not abrasive cleaners) for marks

Avoid hanging wall art or using adhesive hooks until the paint has fully cured.

What if I’m not happy with the result?

We pride ourselves on quality and communication. If something doesn’t look right, let us know within 48 hours — we’ll make it right. Our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied before we mark the job as complete.

Do you offer touch-ups or maintenance in the future?

If touch-ups are needed, just let us know within 48 hours of job completion. For ongoing maintenance (e.g. repaints after tenancy changes, wear and tear, etc.), we’re happy to quote this as a separate paid service.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we follow QBCC deposit guidelines: 5% deposit for jobs $20,000 and over 10% deposit for jobs $3,300 and over 20% deposit for jobs under $3,300 This protects both parties and secures your booking in our schedule.
